Tags

Create tags and tag categories, group supply orders by tag, and enter family minimum order quantities per supplier.

Tags group products by any dimension you choose: product family, ABC class, range, store format. Tag categories group tags, for example a "Product family" category that holds one tag per family. You use tags across Flowlity to filter lists, group and total them, scope automations, group supply orders, and set family minimum order quantities.

Where it is: Settings > Parameters > Tags. The page has two tabs: the tags list, and Categories of tags. Use Search to find a tag or a category.

The tags list shows the Tag name, its Tag category, whether it is Used to group orders, whether it is Integrated from your ERP, and the number of Products. Companies with the Assortment module also see an Assortment exception tag column.

How to enter a family MOQ per supplier

A family MOQ is a minimum order quantity that applies to all the products of a tag ordered from one supplier, for example 500 units per order across a product family. Use it when your ERP does not hold this constraint.

1

Open the tag

Go to Settings > Tags and click the tag of the product family.

2

Open the Family MOQ tab

Click Family MOQ. Each line is a supplier that sources products of this tag, with the number of products concerned.

3

Enter the MOQ and its unit

For each supplier, enter the Minimum order quantity and pick its Unit.

4

Save

Click Save. Click Discard changes to cancel.

The family MOQ constraint must be activated on your site before it affects order recommendations. If it is not, the tab shows a warning. Ask your Customer Success Manager to activate it.

Delete them

In the selection bar, click ..., then Delete. The confirmation tells you how many products use these tags. Confirm to delete.

You can also delete one tag from its window with Delete. Only tags created in Flowlity can be deleted this way.

Good to know

  • Integrated tags: tags that come from your ERP show "Integrated from external system". You cannot rename them, change their category or edit their products in Flowlity. You can still tick Used to group orders.

  • Used as exception tag in assortment: on companies with the Assortment module, tick this box on one tag. Products with this tag do not follow the typology rules of the Assortment module. Only one tag can be the exception tag: ticking it on a tag removes it from the previous one.

  • Family MOQ lines you cannot edit: a line shows Managed by the integration when your ERP already holds the family MOQ for that supplier. When some products of the supplier already belong to another family, the line says how many can be constrained here.

  • Creating or editing tags and categories needs the tag write permission. Without it, the Create tag and Create tag category buttons do not show.

  • From a tag page in Demand or Planning, Show details opens Tag Information, and Edit tag opens the same tag window.
