Site closures

Declare the periods when one of your sites is closed and cannot receive or ship goods.

The Site closures page lists the periods when your sites are closed, for example a summer shutdown or a public holiday. Flowlity takes these closures into account when it plans deliveries to your sites.

Who changes it: usually an administrator or a site manager, once the closure dates are known.

Where to find it: at the bottom of the sidebar, click Settings, then Data > Site closures. The page is called All site closures. It shows the Name (the description), Start date and End date of each closure. Filter it by site, or search it.

Supplier closures are a different setting: you declare them on each supplier. See Suppliers.

How to declare a site closure

1

Switch to the site

In the site menu at the top of the sidebar, select the site that will be closed. The new closure is created on the current site.

2

Add the closure

Go to Settings > Site closures and click Add closure.

3

Fill in the closure

Enter a Description, for example "Summer shutdown", then pick the Start date and the End date. The start date cannot be in the past.

4

Save

Click Save.

How to edit or delete a site closure

1

Open the closure

In the list, click the closure.

2

Change or delete it

Change the description or the dates and click Save, or click Delete and confirm.

Good to know

  • Adding a closure needs company-level edit rights. Editing or deleting one needs edit rights on the site.

  • You can also set the delivery days of each site, next to its closures. See Sites.
