Settings

Open Settings to manage your profile, your company, sites, users, products, suppliers, tags and data downloads.

Settings hold the configuration behind your planning: your profile, your sites and users, product and supplier parameters, tags, closures and data downloads. Most planners use them to adjust a product, a tag or a closure. Company administrators also manage sites and user access.

Where it is: click Settings (gear icon) at the bottom of the left sidebar. The Profile page opens first.

How to open a settings page

1

Open Settings

At the bottom of the left sidebar, click Settings. The sidebar now shows the settings pages, grouped under General, Parameters and Data.

2

Pick a page

Click the page you need in the settings sidebar. The list of pages is below.

3

Go back to your work

Click the back arrow next to Settings at the top of the sidebar. You return to the page you were on before you opened Settings.

Settings pages

The pages follow the order of the settings sidebar.

General

  • Profile: your name, the app language, and where to find the documentation.

  • Company: your company name and your sales under promotion target.

  • Sites: site name, address, delivery days and closures.

  • Users: user names and the sites each user can access.

  • Products: product information, suppliers, quotas, forecast and inventory strategies.

  • Suppliers: supplier constraints and closures.

Parameters

  • Tags: tags and tag categories, order grouping, and family minimum order quantities.

  • Buffer policy: default buffer settings for each inventory strategy.

Data

  • Site closures: periods when a site cannot receive goods.

  • Download data: export orders, planning, or demand history and forecasts in XLSX, CSV or TSV.

  • Import data: load your data files. Only on Flowlity Lite sites, see Flowlity Lite.

Good to know

  • What you see depends on your permissions. For example, Buffer policy only appears if you can edit products, and some fields are read-only without administrator rights.

  • On supplier collaboration portal sites, Settings shows fewer pages: Profile, Company, Sites, Users and Download data.

  • Some settings, such as a site's currency, can only be changed by Flowlity. Your Customer Success Manager can change them for you.
