KPIs
KPI columns show a metric per product in the Demand and Planning lists, so you can sort and filter on it.
A KPI is a metric column you add to the product list in Demand or Planning: past demand over the last 12 months, forecast for the next 3 months, stock coverage, overstock, and more. Once the column is in the list, you can sort and filter on it, and save it in a view.
What a KPI is made of
When you create a KPI, you describe it in a few choices:
Data source: what you measure. The sources are Past demand, Estimated lost sales, Final forecast, External forecast, My forecast, Flowlity forecast, Supply orders, Inventory level, Overstock, Stock coverage, Stock min and Zero stock days. Firm demand is also listed when your site shows firm orders in Demand.
Data measure: a value in your currency or a quantity. For the Flowlity, final and external forecasts, you first choose Statistic (the forecast itself) or Past performance (its accuracy: MAPE, MAE or FVA).
Period: the time window, in the past (last 7 or 30 days, last 3, 6 or 12 months) or in the future (next 7, 14 or 30 days, next 3, 6 or 12 months). The periods offered depend on the source.
Formula: Sum adds up the period; Trend shows how much it changed, in percent, compared with the period before.
Unit of measure or Price type: for a quantity, the unit the column is shown in (for example pieces or pallets); for a value, the price used (Purchase price, Sales price or Stock valorisation price).

Who sees a KPI
A KPI belongs to your company, not to you. Once created, it is available in all views and all sites, for every user. Deleting a KPI removes it for everyone, and it cannot be undone.
Showing or hiding a KPI column only changes your current list. Save a view to keep the column layout.
A worked example
You want to spot products whose demand is growing.
You create two KPIs: Past demand, quantity, last 12 months, Sum; and Final forecast, quantity, next 12 months, Sum. With both columns side by side, sort on the forecast column: products where the forecast is well above last year's demand come first. Save the result as a view called "Growing products" to review it every month.
KPIs per product family
In Demand and Planning, switch Dimension to Tag to see the list per tag instead of per product. Each row is a tag, for example a product family, with its KPIs summed up. You can export this KPI list.
