# Skills

Flowlity's written procedures for recurring planning jobs, which the Co-planner follows in the app and in your own AI assistant.

Skills are Flowlity's written procedures for recurring planning jobs, such as a weekly replenishment review or a forecast audit. A skill tells the assistant in which order to work, which data to read at each step, and which mistakes to avoid, so you get a consistent result without describing the whole process each time.

Skills work everywhere the Co-planner does: in the [Co-planner](/ai-and-automations/co-planner.md) of the Flowlity app, and in your own assistant once it is [connected to Flowlity](/ai-and-automations/co-planner/mcp.md). They only read the data your Flowlity account can already see.

## How to see the available skills

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Ask the assistant

In the Co-planner, or in your connected assistant, ask "Which procedures can you walk me through?".
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Read the list

The assistant lists the current skills, each with a title, one line on what it does, and a short name in code format, for example `replenishment-review`. Flowlity adds and improves skills over time, so ask again later to see the latest list.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## How to run a skill

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Ask for it

Type its name or title, for example "Run the replenishment-review skill", or simply describe the job: "Help me prepare this week's orders". The assistant picks the matching procedure.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Follow along

The assistant works through the steps of the procedure and asks you for what it needs, such as the site. At the end, it names the procedure it followed, so you can ask for it directly next time.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Examples

* **Getting started** (`getting-started`): confirms which Flowlity account is connected, shows what you can do, and suggests three first questions. Try "Help me get started with Flowlity".
* **Weekly replenishment review** (`replenishment-review`): finds what needs a decision this week, checks it against supplier constraints, and hands back an ordering list. Try "Run my weekly replenishment review".
* **Forecast audit** (`forecast-audit`): ranks the products whose forecast most needs a review, with the forecast input to fix. Try "Run a forecast audit". See [Run a forecast accuracy review](/demand-management/demand/run-forecast-review.md).

## Good to know

* **Skills do not change your data**: they guide the assistant. You decide and act in the app.
* **Download them** (advanced): tools that support MCP resources can download the skills as files, for example into Claude Code. Downloaded copies do not update themselves: download them again to get the latest versions.
* **In Claude**: the [Plugin](/ai-and-automations/co-planner/mcp/plugin.md) installs the Flowlity connector together with a set of skills.
